JETRO GSAP Sustainability Program

About

The GSAP Sustainability Course is a one-year acceleration program designed to support early-stage climate-tech startups in Japan as they expand into international markets, with a particular focus on the United States.

Organized by JETRO and delivered in partnership with New Energy Nexus, Japan Energy Fund, and Third Derivative (RMI), the program combines local market sourcing and diligence with global investor and corporate engagement, long-term tailored support, and a capstone showcase in California. Since it’s launch in 2025, the program has supported 10 Japanese climate-tech startups in their international growth journey.
