Programs for energy access

in rural Uganda

We’re bringing clean energy solutions to grassroots communities and refugee settlements across the country.

how we do it

We harness the power of local organizations to incubate and empower clean energy entrepreneurs within their networks.

These organizations provide many essential services: supporting better health, education, sanitation and work for local people. They have the networks, trust, and community reputation to bring new technologies, such as solar lights, water filters, briquettes and clean energy cookstoves, to rural villages.

Through our programs, we enable them to reach bottom-of-the-pyramid customers in Uganda’s off-grid communities. As a strategic enabler and resource hub, we drive impactful, sustainable energy solutions where they can make the greatest difference.
