About

SolarSTEP (Solar SMEs Training & Entrepreneurship Program) is a 3-day intensive program designed to equip community representatives, mechanics, and engineers with the skills to implement solar projects and build sustainable businesses. By strengthening local solar entrepreneurs and MSMEs, we aim to accelerate renewable energy adoption and makes clean energy more accessible across Thailand.

We’re expanding nationwide, with training programs already launched in Chiang Mai (North) and Songkhla (South). By late 2025, new centers in the Eastern and Isaan regions will further strengthen Thailand’s clean energy workforce.

PROGRAM COLLABORATION

SolarSTEP

New Energy Nexus Thailand, in partnership with PEA ENCOM Smart Solution, hosted the SolarSTEP training program to support solar entrepreneurs.

Held at the Nakhon Chai Sri Center, this intensive 3-day program combines theory with hands-on learning. Participants use the OpenSolar software to create proposals and receive exclusive technical training from PEA ENCOM, equipping them with the skills to thrive in the solar energy sector.
