Startup Acceleration Program 2024 (Cohort 5)

About

A free-of-charge hybrid support program that features intensive curriculum workshops, one-on-one consultation and mentoring sessions, and group discussions focused on market and technology readiness.

Entrepreneurs go through training and focused mentoring discussions with energy experts on topics such as energy policy, customer experience, business law and entrepreneurial finance and accounting. The program is capped off with a Demo Day – a public showcase event that is intended to connect them with potential partners, customers and investors.

Who can Apply

Startups and MSME’
Founders and teams of energy or climate startups and businesses.

Community Projects
Groups or teams pursuing community-based energy and climate related initiatives and projects.

Social Enterprises
Groups or teams with projects and ventures that have specific focus on social and environmental impact.

FAQs

Can I apply as long I’m solving a climate change or energy problem?

  • Startups, MSMEs, social enterprises, and community projects are welcome to apply as long as they solve any climate change or energy problem.
  • Personal projects related to energy (e.g., installation of renewable energy in own facility) will not be accepted.

Does my startup/ company / project have to be based in the Philippines?

The startup/company/project must be based in the Philippines. The founders can be foreigners, but the implementation must be within the Philippine geographical boundaries.

Does my concept/idea already have to be technically feasible?

The startup’s/company’s/project’s concept or idea must be technically feasible based on the expert judgment of the NEXPH team or an external evaluator. The team should also pass the founders interview.
