New Energy Nexus now has over 150 staff in a dozen markets around the globe. From dispersing US$45 million to over 150 startups in California, through to supporting 170 community-based organizations in Uganda to distribute clean energy, our local teams are cultivating local climate solutions.
There are more great memories: partnering with the famous RMI to establish Third Derivative, starting the Clean Fight in New York, and launching Supercharge Australia with EnergyLab. Equally, setting up our chapter in Indonesia, and seeing the teams in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines growing their programs has been a thrill. But there’s a lot of work to do and dozens more countries that need entrepreneurs to unlock more climate solutions. This is why we need an exploration fund.
